Conscious Buyers Flock to Ecora

Ecora, specialists in wood flooring and home accessories, has seen a 60% increase this year to date in customers making eco-conscious decisions on wood flooring for their homes.

“Over the last year, customers have specifically enquired about the source of the wood and its credentials,” says Ecora’s showroom manager and buyer Jeandre du Toit.  “Our customers very rarely ask about quality, since all our flooring is of the utmost grade and finish.  What they do ask about is how the wood is sourced and whether the product has passed the most rigorous standards”.  

Since opening its showroom in 2008, Ecora has specialised in the supply of New and Reclaimed Wood Flooring and where possible only purchase timber products independently certified as coming from well-managed forests.  Where certified products are not available Ecora will course materials from suppliers that are operating within the laws of their own country.
