Ecora are thrilled to help launch the new collaboration with prolific London bed designer Daniel Spring – the D2 Collection.

The D2 Collection sees Ecora’s natural woods integrated into Daniel Spring’s handcrafted bespoke bed creations, with headboard woods selected to mix or match your décor.

These sleek and polished lines contrast with the strong, natural and raw aesthetic of Ecora’s quality woods, creating a truly one-off range of beds for the design-focussed interior.

The range’s first showing, at London Design Week 2012, drew a glowing response from leading design experts who attended.

“During London Design Week I held an open day at my workshop displaying the D2 Collection,” Daniel Spring says, “Attendees loved the fact they can mix and match woods in the beds with their flooring, as there is nothing similar available. We feel the range really hit a niche in the market, and we’re looking forward to taking this new collaboration to a wider audience.”

RCA-trained designer Daniel Spring is renowned for his simple and elegant style of metal furniture, with his signature designs featuring highly reflective finishes in nickel, brass, bronze, copper and chrome.

“We where thrilled at the opportunity to work together with Daniel Spring. We loved the idea of integrating natural wood with steel, and in a collaborative effort earlier this year we came up with the new D2 Range” says Daniel Bloom Ecora MD. “This collection has a simple brushed steel finish with a hint of an industrial feel, which looks amazing when juxtaposed with our rustic and grainy timber. We love the range, and the fact that they are bespoke and made to order means our clients can create the perfect bed to match their interior style.”

As with all of Daniel Spring’s creations, the D2 range of beds are hand created to order for unique and enduring design pieces. Beds retail from £1,985 including VAT, and can be shipped globally.
